I hope you like this recipe. We think it's delicious! It might help that we produce all the (main) ingredients ourselves, of course... People in Ireland have eaten this for centuries - although when times were tough, probably without the bacon (milk was often used instead). Is it necessary to say that all the ingredients are boiled until cooked? Bacon takes about 20 minutes/pound, potatoes take about 20 minutes and cabbage about 8 minutes. Enjoy!
